	GPA's Class of 2013 College Acceptances The Class of 2013 is starting to receive their wings! Check out all of the amazing Universities our Seniors have been accepted to. This list will be updated through out the rest of the school year, so check back often!
	UCSD Offers $40,000 Scholarships to GPA Students Accepted to the University UCSD Chancellor Pradeep Khosla presented six GPA Seniors with the four year, $40,000 undergraduate scholarship called the Chancellor's Associates Scholars at a community event this week.
	San Diego Union Tribune Visits GPA for a Feature Article Education reporter Maureen Magee visited GPA to learn more about the transformation of the Gompers campus since converting to charter school in 2005.

	GPA Varsity Baseball vs. King Chavez On April 30th, 2013, the GPA Varsity Baseball team played King Chavez for the second time on Gompers Field. Urial Gonzalez hit his second inside the park home run to seal the victory for the Eagles. The team once again showed excellent team work and sportsmanship throughout the game. The final score was Eagles 14 - King Chavez 0.
	UCSD Financial Aid Staff Provides Personalized Service to GPA Seniors UCSD Financial Aid Office Director Ann Klein and Senior Counselor/Outreach Specialist Yvonne Borrego visited GPA today to meet with the six seniors who were recently admitted to UCSD and awarded the Chancellor's Associates Scholarship.
	GPA Girls Softball vs. High Tech High Chula Vista All smiles from our girl’s as they took to the field to play High Tech Chula Vista down at the Mount Miguel Community Park.
	GPA Varsity Baseball vs. Liberty Charter On April 23, 2013, the GPA Varsity Baseball team took Gompers Field with a large crowd of Eagle fans cheering as they played against Liberty Charter High School.
	GPA Holds Annual Spring Egg Hunt GPA students enjoyed the third annual GPA Spring Egg Hunt.

	Gompers Preparatory Academy Observes Founders Day School Holiday on March 1st Gompers Preparatory Academy (formerly Gompers Charter Middle School) was founded on March 1, 2005, when the San Diego Unified Board of Education unanimously approved the charter school petition.
	GPA Students perform for a crowd of 2500+ at the CCSA Conference in San Diego! Two GPA students were invited to perform our school song at CCSA's annual conference.
