Professional Development

On Monday, January 11, 2010, GPA teachers and staff engaged in their own learning by attending several professional workshops as part of their continued growth. GPA teachers and staff are committed to excellence and know the importance of life-long learning.

Workshops offered: How to create Interim Assessments to guide teacher practice led by Katherine Casey, How to create a structured and predictable environment led by Najib Mesdaq, How to support Special Education students led by Jane Firpo, How to support the increase of student proficiency levels led by Lisa Maples, and How to develop character education curriculum led by Ashley Wirth. Teachers and staff were excited to return from winter break as they prepared for the return of our amazing GPA students. We are very proud of our staff and their passion for learning!
