Millennial Tech Middle School (MTM) Emergency & GPA "Shelter in Place"

Our neighboring school, Millennial Tech Middle School (MTM), had an emergency today that required them to evacuate their campus. As a precautionary measure, due to the close proximity of this emergency, the GPA campus was directed to implement “Shelter in Place” procedures starting at 1:15pm. All students were kept indoors until notified by safety authorities that it was safe for them to be outdoors.

Many students of MTM were evacuated via the Gompers PE field, which is shared by both campuses. No GPA students were evacuated.

GPA students did an amazing job of following safety procedures and staying calm and focused on learning today. We hope that your family has a great weekend and a wonderful Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday on Monday.
