GPA & Challenge Day!

As we continue to celebrate Black History Month and the inspirational people that have changed our world, GPA embarked on a new journey for our students. 80 students from Gompers Preparatory Academy took part in Challenge Day.

The 6.5 workshop is a highly experiential, educational, and personal workshop that provides participants with the inspiration, hope and compassion to end the social oppression in their school, families, and community. 30 adults from our staff joined the students in the library for all day activities. Challenge Day's mission is to provide youth and their communities with experiential workshops and programs that demonstrate the possibility of love and connection through the celebration of diversity, truth, and full expression.
