GCMS has 2 ESL classrooms with smaller class sizes than the general education English classes. Students in the ESL classes are at the beginning or early intermediate stages of English language development as measured by the CELTD. Teachers organize curriculum to improve and accelerate students’ abilities to read, write, speak and listen in English with the goal of students eventually moving into mainstream English classes.
